However I loose almost all volume control on my dac, 3 clicks above audible start to be too loud on my m50s. That being said, I have also heard that you want to turn the in windows volume all the way to 100%. I can hear much more detail and actually notice the tambourine in songs now, haha. I was happy without the dac but felt that I was missing something, and without much tinkering, just disabling enhancements, I am very pleased with the audio quality increase after getting everything hooked up. I have a newly acquired FX Audio Dac 圆 (connected over USB) and a somewhat older pair of ATH m50x's. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to properly setup windows for a dac, to get the best sound quality I can.
